Therapy services
I help a wide array of adults struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, seasonal affective disorder, and life transitions, in the Milwaukee area. Beyond mental health symptoms, my clients are often seeking to live deeper, truer, more authentic lives.
Traditional Psychotherapy
Gretchen offers psychotherapy for an array of adult mental health struggles. She focuses first on developing a trusting and safe environment for her clients to begin the healing process, then reducing symptoms of sadness, anxiety, anger, lethargy, by moving through past emotional and spiritual wounds, to allow space for lasting joy, peace, and contentment. There are many ways to live a life, and Gretchen would like to help you find your best life.
As a uniquely trained psychotherapist, ecotherapist, psychedelic integration specialist, ketamine assisted psychotherapist, and trauma yoga teacher, Gretchen brings a holistic perspective to mental health, one that is deeply connected to our own mind, body and spirit, others, the earth, and a larger purpose.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Gretchen has experienced first hand the immense healing potential of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) while doing her training through Naropa University’s Psychedelic Assisted Therapies program and through facilitation of dozens of Ketamines sessions, since that time. Although many clients come to Gretchen for psychotherapy only, others decide that ketamine is a tool that would nicely advance their therapeutic process. Still others come to Gretchen specifically to utilize ketamine in a therapeutic environment, coupled with preparatory sessions and followed with integration sessions afterward. Unlike many of the online do-it-at-home services that often leave people confused and disappointed with their results, Gretchen emphasizes the therapeutic process to ensure that you glean the most healing possible from that powerful period of neuroplasticity in your brain 1-4 weeks after your ketamine session.
Group Experiences
Gretchen offers group ketamine therapy retreats as well as custom ketamine experiences to foster these much needed deep connections. Group therapy retreats can provide the time, space and experience that some of us truly need in order to move through challenging times, lean into a new way of perceiving ourselves and grow spiritually. With others in a safe environment to witness and share our experience, the kind of transformation we seek can be more easily found.
